Upscale Pizzeria Opens On Main Street
A new upscale pizzeria is open and serving customers with fresh homemade Italian cuisine.
SAUCE opened its doors on North Main Street in Jamestown on July 26. The pizzeria features authentic pasta dishes, specialty pizzas, salads and more. Some of the deserts featured are made from scratch, including tiramisu and baklava cheesecake.
The pizzeria is owned by Adam Gullo, a Jamestown resident who’s spent much of his time in the kitchen having learned from his grandparents and his father, Sam. Everything is cooked and made fresh from his dough recipe to his grandmother Gullo’s Sunday sauce. Gullo gave thanks to his father, mother and family for their help in making his pizzeria a reality.
“Some of the best memories are made at the table and in the kitchen, and food has always sparked imagination and creativity in my home growing up,” Gullo said. “We are happy as a business to share our family food with the Jamestown Community.”
Those entering SAUCE order what they like at the counter and sit down as they wait for runners to bring them their food. All the food ordered comes out “grandma style,” or all at one time.
Takeout is also available by calling 488-7770. The pizzeria is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4-9 p.m.
