Lutheran held their 39th annual Employee Recognition Dinner at Moon Brook Country Club and honored 94 employees for varying years of service to the organization.

The theme of the event was “Picture of Success” and highlighted all the triumphs the organization had achieved over the last year thanks to their dedicated staff.

Members of the Lutheran Board of Directors, as well as the organization’s leadership team, presented awards to the attending employees to thank them for their continued support and hard work. Three of Lutheran’s recent retirees also received recognitions and a thank you gift.

“We see a lot of the same names and faces at this event year after year, many of them over longer periods of time. That tells us that we are doing something right,” said Tom Holt, Lutheran president and chief executive officer. “Lutheran’s turnover rate is much lower compared to other organizations with a similar mission and size. That is a direct reflection of our positive employee culture.”

Lutheran’s employee engagement program, the Lutheran Experience, is the primary driver behind the organization’s positive culture. Employees are surveyed every six months and decide together which of their organizational values need to be strengthened going forward.

“We want to make sure all of our employees are heard and feel appreciated,” Holt said.
