Bold red brick and glistening glass now make up the store front of Patient’s Pharmacy after the completion of renovations.

Formerly the location of Bro Laines Bridal, the shop has undergone many changes since Patient’s Pharmacy opened there in 2012, said Tim Scoma, Patient’s Pharmacy marketing representative. According to Scoma, the entire store was redone, from the basement to the flooring and the store front.

”We’ve changed the entire place here,” he said. ”We started in 2013, and we just finished with the floor and the exposed brick this Thanksgiving.”

Scoma said the rooms where women would try on their dresses were removed, but the original hardwood floor was kept. However, there were indications of where the rooms were previously located, so a new floor was added.

”If the people that used to work here came in, they wouldn’t recognize it,” he said.

The store moved to the Main Street location in 2012 after out growing their previous location in Falconer. The Main Street location is easier to access for those who walk, Scoma said.

Patient’s Pharmacy has offered their services since 2008, which includes selling durable medical equipment, wheelchairs and walkers. The shop also offers free delivery to customers on Tuesday and Thursday, as well as free on-call service.

Scoma said the shop also has a lymphedema therapist and a BOC mastectomy fitter available to help patients.

The pharmacy siged a contract with Hallmark and has begun offering greeting cards in their shop. The store is also offering items from Our Own Candle Shop out of Findlay Lake. Scoma said the store is proud to offer candles and other items from the local business.

Patient’s Pharmacy is located at 320 N. Main St. in downtown Jamestown. The store is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shop has a second location in Dunkirk at 436 Central Ave.
