Food Pantry In Ashville Tuesday

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday Open hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Levant Cemetery To Hold Meeting

The Levant Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting Monday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at the Levant Wesleyan Church Community Room. All lot owners and those interested in the maintaining of the cemetery is welcome to attend.

Patterson Library To Host Author

WESTFIELD — The Patterson Library presents “Isaiah Rashad II, Staying Focused” author, and sculptor Thursday, April 25, at 6 pm. In Rashad’s Christian non-fiction book, he discusses the “basics of staying focused in a world of confusion, misconceptions, and doubts following the principles taught by Jesus which still apply to us all today.” Isaiah began the study of existentialism, writing and speaking to all who would listen. Isaiah is also a year 2020 candidate for the Doctorate of Strategic Leadership at Regent University. Isaiah writes and speaks the language of life from the words and actions of his own experiences and the lessons and direction of God.

Recovery 5K And Fun Walk April 27

The second annual HOMErun for Recovery 5K and fun walk will be held Saturday, April 27, hosted by Housing Options Made Easy Inc. and the Eagles Nest Respite. The race start is at the Jamestown Cycle shop, 10 Harrison St. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m. To register online, visit runsignup.com/Race/NY/Jamestown/HomeRun4Recovery. The race is part of the Chautauqua Striders Runner of the Year Series, which is sponsored by UMPC WCA. There will be a wellness fair with multiple informational tables and a basket giveaway.

Kiantone FD Open House April 28

KIANTONE — The Kiantone Independent Fire Department, 2818 Foote Ave. Ext., Route 60, will host a RecruitNY open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Refreshments will be provided. There will be activities for the entire family.

Outdoor Club To Hike Kinzua Trail

On Sunday, April 28, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will meet at the Kinzua Bridge Museum at 3 p.m. Attendees can bike or hike on the Kinzua Bridge trail (railroad grade) about 4 miles to Mt. Jewett. GERRY — Members of the Gerry Hill Cemetery Association will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Gerry Fire Hall. The position of caretaker is available. Anyone interested should bring a resume to the meeting.
