Ellington Library Egg Hunt Set Sat.

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farman Library, 760 Thornton Road, Ellington, will be hosting an Easter egg hunt Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. with the littlest children searching first then the older ones will have their chance. The eggs will be hidden outdoors, weather permitting. After the egg hunt, attendees are welcome to come inside the library to enjoy some light breakfast snacks and make simple Easter crafts. The Town of Ellington Recreation Committee is partnering with the library to provide the event for the community.

Library Board Meets Today

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Library Board meets today at the library at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Cemetery Closing Hours Changed

Lake View Cemetery in Jamestown has changed its gate closing hours. Gates at the cemetery will now close at dusk each evening on a year round basis. The cemetery asks that all visitors exit the cemetery at dusk, just as the sun sets. A good rule to follow is if the street lights are coming on it is dusk and time to exit.

Easter Breakfast And Can Drive

CHERRY CREEK — An Easter breakfast and pop can drive will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. April 20 at the Cherry Creek Fire Hall, 6763 Main St. The cost for breakfast is $6 per person. The can drive will continue until 1 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Cherry Creek Junior Firefighters. There will also be an Easter basket giveaway.

North Harmony U.M. Egg Hunt Set

NORTH HARMONY — The North Harmony United Methodist Church, 6814 Sherman-Stedman Road, is hosting a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 20, starting at 1 p.m, for children from birth through 12 years of age. The public is welcome to attend.

Holy Communion Service Thursday

The Falconer First Baptist Church, 37 W. Falconer St., Falconer, N.Y., on Maundy Thursday at 7 p.m., will be observing a service of foot washing and Holy Communion. The church is handicap accessible and hearing enhanced devices are available.

Fellowship Egg Hunt Saturday

The East Side Fellowship’s 58th annual East Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 20, beginning at 10 a.m. Age groups for the hunt will be 1 to 4 year olds, 5 to 7 and 8 to 12. The event will take place at College Park on Curtis Street

Easter Cantata Presented Sunday

STOW — The combined choir from Magnolia and North Harmony United Methodist Churches will present the Easter cantata “That Glorious Day” at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday at the Magnolia Church, 3969 Route 394, north of Stow. Breakfast will be served following the cantata. Morning worship at North Harmony is at 9:30 a.m. and at 11:00 am. at Magnolia. All are welcome at each of the services.

Lot Owners Set To Meet April 27

CARROLL — The Ivory Cemetery Lot Owners Association meeting will be held Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at the Ivory Baptist Church. The public is welcome to attend.
