Coin Club To Hold Show Sunday

DUNKIRK — The Lakeshore Coin Club coin show will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dunkirk Moose Club, 296 Lake Shore Drive in Dunkirk. Admission is free. There will be door prize give-aways every hour; coin dealers present to buy, sell, trade and offer free appraisals; and chance raffles. With questions, contact John Boner 679-8155. The Lakeshore Coin Club holds meetings at the Community Bank, 70 E. Main St.,Westfield the fourth Thursdays of the month from January to October and the second Thursday in November and December. Breast Cancer Group To Meet

The Breast Cancer Support Group of Jamestown will meet Wednesday at Alfies Restaurant on Fairmount Avenue in West Ellicott. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the speaker, Mary Ann Spanos from the county Office for the Aging, will speak at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend.

Cemetery Cleanup To Begin

CATTARAUGUS — Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus will begin its fall cleanup soon. Families are asked to remove all summer decorations by Monday, Oct. 15. Due to the age and deterioration of the water pipes throughout the cemetery, there will no longer be water available except at the office building.

Clymer Author Speaks In Erie

ERIE, Pa. — Clymer author Kathy Otten will speak on the topics “Who is Telling Your Story?” and “Short Stories, Easier Than a Novel?” on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, Erie. Otten is one of many authors presenting workshops on various topics of writing craft at the all-day mini-conference, A Writers Road Trip 6. Otten is a local multi-published historical romance author. Stiff Family To Perform Oct. 13

FALCONER — Falconer First Baptist Church, 37 W. Falconer St., will host the Stiff Family, a bluegrass gospel group, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, and at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14. The public is welcome to attend. An offering will be taken.

Ripley UMC To Hold Breakfast

RIPLEY — The Ripley United Methodist Church is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, to raise money for the Ripley Hose Auxiliary’s Visit with Santa. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7.

Busti Church To Hold Fall Dinner

BUSTI — On Saturday, Oct. 13, the Busti Federated Church will host its annual harvest dinner. The dinner will be served at the Busti Fire Department, across the street from the church, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is a donation. There will also be take-out orders available.
