Pray-Grounds are worship spaces dedicated to engaging young children and parents of young families in the atmosphere of worship. Little ones are invited to take part in quiet play at the Pray-Ground as their parents sit directly behind them and/or an assistant offers support. The space had its soft opening at worship on Labor Day weekend. The “Pray-Ground” is geared for children between the ages of 1 and 5. For more active play space there is an older children’s book center in the lobby behind sanctuary that includes color and activity books and crayons.
