Reed Staff Hold Remote Hours

Rep. Tom Reed’s staff will hold remote office hours in Fredonia on Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. The meeting will be at the Fredonia Village Hall, 9 Church St., Fredonia. Staff will be available to answer questions, gather feedback and provide assistance with immigration, Social Security, veterans’ benefits and other issues related to federal agencies.

Kokomo Time Band To Perform

Kokomo Time Band will be performing on Cassadaga’s Floating Stage on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. With an “old school” look to match the sound, the Kokomo Time Band is a family friendly, fun band playing oldies from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.They also play plenty of beach party tunes by Jimmy Buffett and the Beach Boys. This concert is sponsored by the village of Cassadaga and is part of the Cassadaga Lake Summer Concert Series. Cassadaga’s Floating Stage is located at 45 Park Ave, Cassadaga. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the American Legion, Post 1280, 228 Maple Ave, Cassadaga.

Bus Shopping Trip Set For Saturday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farman Library is sponsoring a bus shopping trip fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 8, where they will be travelling to the Waterloo Premium Outlets with a stop first at the Muranda Cheese Company. The total cost for the bus ticket is $55 and includes light breakfast when loading the bus in the morning as well as snacks, games and prizes while on the bus. Dinner will be at Applebee’s in Batavia and is not included in the cost. Those who attend may board the bus at two locations: 8 a.m. at the Park ‘n Ride at Exit 12 off I-86 in Jamestown and 8:20 a.m. at the Kennedy Shurfine. Return time is estimated to be 9 p.m. Reserve a seat on the bus by paying $25 to the library by Aug. 25. For details call the library at 287-2945.

Ripley Church To Host Breakfast

RIPLEY — The Ripley United Methodist Church will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7:30-11 a.m. Saturday to benefit the East Ripley Cemetery Association. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, home fries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7.

Frewsburg Sets Class Reunion

FREWSBURG — The Frewsburg Central School Class of 1968 will hold its 50th reunion on Saturday, Aug. 11. There will be a casual meet and greet on Friday, Aug. 10, from 6:30-10 p.m. at Hot Coals, 174 Ivory St., Frewsburg. On Saturday, Aug. 11, from 2-4 p.m. there will be a guided tour of Frewsburg Central School. The 50th reunion will be at the Frewsburg American Legion at 6:15 p.m. with cocktails, cash bar and appetizers followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. Any teachers or any other Frewsburg Central School grads from the 1960s are invited to attend one or more of the events. Manor Oak Sets Employee Picnic

FALCONER — Former Manor Oak employees will have their annual summer picnic on Aug. 21 at 6 p.m. at Falconer Park. Those interested in attending should call Ann Damon at 782-3960 or Rosie Digirolamo at 499-4161. Reservations are requested by Aug. 15.
