Gospel Concert Set For Saturday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Community Church will host a gospel concert featuring the band Sunny Side Up at 3 p.m. Saturday. Refreshments follow the concert. The public is welcome to attend.

Stockton Church To Host VBS

STOCKTON — Stockton Community Church, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, will host vacation Bible school July 23-27 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for children ages 4 to 12 years old. The theme is “Maker Fun Factory” and will include music, games, experiments and snacks. Parents can pre-register their children by calling the church office at 595-3176. Children must be accompanied by a parent on Monday July 23, at 8:30 a.m. to register and sign in.

Alzheimer Class Set For Monday

BUSTI — Chautauqua Opportunities Alzheimer’s Services will host a program from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 23, at the Hazeltine Library, 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti. The session will include a discussion of dementia basics, what dementia means and the different types of dementia, the demands of taking care of an elderly loved one can, how to avoid burnout and ways caregivers can take care of themselves. Craft Club To

Be Held Tuesday

SOUTH DAYTON — The next Community Activities for Adults hosted by Jean Baker at the South Dayton Village Library, 17 Park St., will be a craft club from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. Those attending can work on their own craft projects, including knitting, crocheting or quilting. The evening is an opportunity to learn new techniques and share craft ideas. The class is free. Those attending can bring a beverage or snack if they wish.

MAYVILLE — The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Chautauqua town meeting room, 2 Academy St., Mayville. The public is welcome to attend.

IDA Board Sets Tuesday Meeting

FALCONER — The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, in the Ellicott Town Board room, 215 S. Work St., Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.

Tea Party Patriots To Show Video

The Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Lakewood American Legion. Members will see a Prager video, “So You Think You’re More tolerant.” Scott Axelson will present an update on local issues, and a video also will be shown of the New York City former bartender who won the Democrat primary by espousing a socialist platform. Members are urged to wear their MAGA caps and to bring a friend to the meeting. Meetings are open to the public.
