Thrift Shop Sells At Half-Price

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St., between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, Jamestown, has all ladies plus-size clothing and junior clothing half-price. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. The shop has a selection of slightly used or new clothing in all departments. Donations are accepted from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays or during regular business hours. Those with large donations are asked to call ahead at 664-1887. Off-street parking is available in the church lot off East Fifth Street. The all-volunteer staff includes many from RSVP. Proceeds are used locally.

Baptist Concert Set For Friday

ELLINGTON — The Baptist Church of Ellington will host The Needhams in concert at 7 p.m. Friday at the church, 530 Route 62, in Conewango Valley. The public is welcome to attend.

NARFE To Hold Meeting Friday

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Chapter 267, serving Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties and southwestern Allegheny County in Pennsylvania, will hold its July meeting at annual picnic on Friday. The meeting/picnic will be held at the large pavilion in Jamestown’s Allen Park. The meeting begins at 11:15 a.m. and will cover items of interest to active and retired federal employees. The picnic will begin after the formal meeting. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. All members and former members of the chapter are invited. National NARFE members are also invited to meet with other retirees. Active civilian employees of the federal service and post office are invited to participate. Members are invited to bring a dish to pass if possible.

Fentonville UMC Sets Movie Night

FREWSBURG — The Fentonville United Methodist Church, 109 Old Fentonville Road, Frewsburg, will host a free family movie night at 6:30 p.m. Saturday featuring the film “Paul, The Apostle of Christ.” Free popcorn and drinks will be provided.

Multiple Sclerosis Group To Meet

The Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group will meet from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center auditorium, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown, The semi-structured support group has the goal of being both informative and fun. Snacks are provided. Those affected by the disease, including family and friends, are welcome to attend. For more information or directions, or for peer support, call Debbie Lane at 962-9401.

YWCA Arts, Crafts Event Set

WESTFIELD — The YWCA Westfield announces its annual Arts and Crafts Festival to be held July 27 and 28. At the festival will be numerous vendors, food trucks, jewelry, toys, clothing, artwork and sculptures. The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 27 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 28.
