Yoga Day To Be Held Thursday

Jamestown’s second International Day of Yoga is taking place Thursday on the official International Day of Yoga. This event features six local yoga teachers that will teach brief, 30 minute classes for all levels. The event is free and is a celebration of health and wellbeing through yoga, a mind-body practice. Different styles of yoga will be featured — come discover the style and teacher that work best for you. Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one, for those without there are some to borrow at the studio. The event will be held in the second floor courtyard of the Pearl City Arts Building, Cherry Street, between Second and Third streets, from 6-8 p.m.

Alumni Lunch To Be Held Thursday

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. — The Youngsville, Pa., High School Alumni Luncheon will be held Tuesday, July 10, at noon at the Youngsville Fire Hall. Each year alumni get together, with the Class of 1966 as hosts and Class of ’67 as honored guests. Those who attend are asked to bring a dish to share. St. Luke’s To Host Concert Monday

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites the community to attend its Junior Choir’s Second Annual Variety Concert on Monday, June 25, at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary. The group has been working under the direction of Andy Schmidt, St. Luke’s director of music to present a wide variety sacred and popular music. The evening’s program will consist of ensemble anthems sung by the whole group as well as solo performances by select members of the choir. The church is located at 410 N. Main St,, Jamestown. Dementia Course Set For June 25

SINCLAIRVILLE — Chautauqua Opportunities Inc.’s Alzheimer’s Services is having a presentation on communication and dementia from 6-7 p.m. June 25 at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 S. Main St., Sinclairville. The presentation includes discussion of how the communication skills of a person with Alzheimer’s disease or another related dementia will gradually decline as the disease progresses and challenges associated with communication.
