Food Truck To Visit Tuesday

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York mobile pantry truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church Tuesday. Open hours are 9:30 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some stable items. To receive this free food proof of address showing you reside at one of the following zip codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the Town of Busti. Town Picnic

Set For Today

The South Valley Memorial Day Town Picnic will be held at 2 p.m. today at the South Valley Town Hall. The picnic will be directly after the memorial service provided by the members of the American Legion Post No. 181 Randolph. Those attending should bring a dish to pass and their own beverages.

Clymer BOE To Meet Wednesday

CLYMER — The Clymer Central School Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Clymer Central School high school library for a budget work session. The public is welcome to attend.

Rummage Sale Set For Saturday

Villenova Grange No. 604 will hold a rummage sale on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Routes 83 and 322, South Dayton at Balcom’s Corners. Donations of items will be accepted. Call 965-4292 for more information.

The second annual Eastside Fellowship Bike and Car Cruise-In will be held Saturday from noon-4 p.m. at 322 Woodlawn Ave. in Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Farmer’s Market Opens Saturday

FALCONER — The Falconer’s Farmer’s Market will open for the season on Saturday. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through the end of October in Davis Park, corner of West Main and Homestead streets, across from the Falconer Community Building and Library. The market’s vendors offer a wide variety of local products, including fruits and vegetable and fresh baked goods, eggs, jams, honey, maple syrup and fresh herbs. In addition to these goods, vendors at the Farmer’s Market also have flowers, plants, craft items and seasonal products for sale. There is free parking around the market and throughout the village.

Audit And Control To Meet June 4

The Audit and Control Committee of the County Legislature will hold a special meeting for Monday, June 4, at 3 p.m. at the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. The committee will discuss county fleet management with representatives of Enterprise Fleet Management.
