T-Ball Sign-Ups Now Available
The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls of Jamestown is currently registering participants for a four-week T-Ball program for ages 3 and 4. The cost for the four week program is $20. The class will be held on Saturdays from 9:30-10 a.m. beginning March 24 with no game during the Spring break (April 7). For more information and to register, please call the WCD Boys and Girls Club at 664-2902. All Boys and Girls Club youth programming is funded in part by the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.
Sewer District Meeting Tuesday
The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts Administrative Board will meet at noon Tuesday in the Water Pollution Control Facility board room in Celoron. The public is welcome to attend meeting.
Pre-K Sign-Ups At Ripley School
Ripley Central School will be holding registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Early Explorers UPK3 program for the 2018-19 school year Thursday. To be eligible for Pre-Kindergarten, a child must turn 4 years old on or before Dec. 1. To be eligible for Early Explorers UPK3 Program, a child must turn 3 years old on or before that date. Parents may register their child anytime between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Those who cannot make it, contact the Guidance Office at 736-2631 Ext. 1191. Please bring proof of residency and your child’s birth certificate, Social Security card and official immunization record.
Infinity To Host March 10 Event
Infinity will be hosting their fourth Art Market and Auction on Saturday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Infinity Arts Cafe in Jamestown. This event will be a culmination to Infinity’s Step Up for the Arts Annual Campaign. The art market will feature work for sale from local artists, an art auction of locally-made art and an array of activities. Infinity’s Art Market and Auction features 20 or more artists each year. This year’s Art Auction will feature a chainsaw carving by Vince Liuzzo and a private collection of pottery and ceramic art created by the late Douglas Hay. All proceeds will support music and arts education experiences for young people at the Infinity Center.
JCC Board To Meet Monday
The JCC Board of Trustees will meet Monday at 5 p.m. in the board rooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County campuses and the North County Ext. Center to interview a candidate for the presidency of the college. The board is expected to move into executive session.
Library To Host Story Hour Days
CHERRY CREEK — The Cherry Creek Library will host a series of story hours from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturdays in March titled “Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss.” For more information, call Sharon Howe, librarian, at 296-5105.
Parish To Hold Wednesday Meal
The Altar and Rosary Society of Holy Apostles Parish will meet at SS. Peter and Paul Church Hall on Wednesday following noon Mass. Those who attend are asked to bring a lunch; refreshments will be served.
