Rap Group To Meet Saturday

Is there an upside to living with Multiple Sclerosis? Come to the Chautauqua Regional Multiple Sclerosis rap group from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center, first floor, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. This semi-structured support group has the goal of being both informative and fun. Snacks are provided. Those affected by the disease, including family and friends, are welcome to attend. Winter Book Sale Begins Friday

State Park Society To Meet Saturday

RED HOUSE — The Allegany State Park Historical Society will meet on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Camp Allegany in the classroom building, located just past Red House Lake off of ASP Route 2. The guest speaker this month is Patrick Dove, Allegany Regional Trails Coordinator at Allegany State Park. Dove will talk about the various hiking and ski trails throughout the park. Dove will talk about the new “Allegany 18 Hiking Challenge” the park is establishing for this summer. The presentation will be followed with questions and answers from the audience.

Educator To Read New Book

Kathleen Lombardo, Clymer Central School teacher and adjunct instructor at Jamestown Community College, will be at Ellington Farman Library on Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. to read her new children’s book “Clover.” Ellington Farman Library is located at 760 Thornton Road in Ellington. Young Authors To Meet Saturday

The Sinclairville Free Library’s Young Authors Group holds meetings the third Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to noon to help writers build story telling techniques. Beginning on Saturday the group will be launching a new project where young authors will write, illustrate and craft a digital narrative. If your child would be interested in participating in this exciting project, or if you have any questions, please contact the library at 962-5885. This free program is directed by SUNY Fredonia student Sara Kibbler, and is available to young people ages 9 to 16.

Pinewood Derby Set For Saturday

Ed Shults Ford Lincoln will host the annual Jamestown Citywide Pinewood Derby on Saturday in the new vehicle showroom at 2253 Washington St., Jamestown. It is the second pinewood derby hosted by Ed Shults Ford Lincoln in the dealership’s new facility that opened last spring.

Spaghetti Dinner Set For Saturday

FLUVANNA — A spaghetti dinner by Joe Conti will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fluvanna Fire Department to raise money for Fluvanna Boy Scout Troop 169. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children under 5 and $20 for a family of four.
