Tea Party Pats To Meet Tuesday
Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m., at the Lakewood American Legion. Discussion will be held on these topics: socialism, tax reform, immigration, and gun recertification. A power point on the Conservative Action Project will be shown. Kris Ann Hall’s video on liberty will be shown along with one on Under Attack, Donors’ Rights to Privacy. Local issues will be discussed. Meetings are open to the public.
JCC Trustees To Gather Tuesday
The Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the board room at the Jamestown campus with videoconferencing to the Cattaraugus County Campus and the JCC North County Training Center in Dunkirk. The board’s Human Resources Committee will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday while the Finance and Audit Committee will meet at 2:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Library Trustees To Meet In Busti
The Hazeltine Public Library Board of Trustees will be meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the library in Busti. The meeting is open to the public.
Mobile Pantry To Be In Ashville
ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York mobile pantry truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday. Open hours are 9:30 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some stable items. To receive this free food proof of address showing you reside at one of the following zip codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Chamber Choir Festival Saturday
Westfield High School will be sponsoring its 24th annual Chamber Choir Festival on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Westfield District Auditorium. Participating will be small singing groups from Cassadaga, Clymer, Pine Valley, Sherman, Silver Creek, Southwestern and Westfield high schools. The singers will rehearse that afternoon on pieces to be performed together and will join for a massed choir in the evening concert. As well, individual ensembles are given the opportunity to perform a few selections which will range in style from pop, jazz, folk, classical, spirituals, musical theater and more. Tickets are available at the door for $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
Panama Board Meets Monday
The Panama Central School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the board room. The meeting is open to the public.
