Rummage, Bake Sale On Sunday
The Celoron United Methodist Church, 28 E. Livingston Ave., two blocks from Main Street, Celoron, will host a holiday rummage and bake sale from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. All proceeds will benefit the outreach and maintenance of the church. There is something for everyone at this sale and you can finish your Christmas shopping. All are welcome to attend.
Karaoke, Band Planned Tonight
Karaoke will be held tonight in the Celoron Legion. The band will be “We Speak Canadian.”
Driver Classes Open To Public
A Smart Driver Safety Class, sponsored by AARP, will be held from 1-4:15 p.m. on Dec. 18 and 20 in the Cassadaga Public Library. Participants must attend both class days and take their driver’s license. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for non-members and must be paid by check or money. To register, contact Doug Arters, instructor, at 490-3880. If no response, leave a message. The class is oriented n to drivers, age 50 plus, but is open to drivers of all ages. The Driver Safety Class Certificate is valid for three years.
American Legion To Host Karaoke
The Jamestown American Legion, located at 364 Fluvanna Ave., with host karaoke with “Eternal Nyght” on Saturday from 7-10 p.m. Food will be provided by “Big Pitt” and will be available from 5-10 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
MS Rap Group Meets Saturday
The Chautauqua Regional Multiple Sclerosis rap group will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, in the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center, first floor, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown. This semi-structured support group has the goal of being both informative and fun. Snacks are provided. Those affected by the disease, including family and friends, are welcome to attend. Boys And Girls Club Open Today
The Winifred Crawford Dibert Boys and Girls Club will be open for all youth today for the half day of school in the Jamestown Public Schools district. Hours at the club for youth members are noon to 5 p.m. All program areas will be open and there will be lunch at noon and an afternoon snack. Free swim will be from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. Youth members can attend at no charge while non-members are $1 a day.
Teamsters To Meet For Dinner
The December dinner meeting of the Teamster Retirees’ Club will be held at the Randolph American Legion today at 1 p.m. All Teamster retirees are welcome to attend.
Church To Host Christmas Party
