Blue Christmas Service Is Sunday
The ministers and churches of the Frewsburg and Kiantone area invite the general public to the Blue Christmas Service at the Kiantone Congregational Church on Sunday at 6 p.m. This service has those in mind who find the season of holidays more mournful than cheerful. The loss of a loved one, a major setback financially, physically or emotionally or a fallout experienced from hopes let down all can dent the Christmas season with doldrums. However, the message of Christmas while identifying with and validating the feelings of gloom and dismay also brings hope to those living with an inconsolable ache.
Down Home X-Mas Is Saturday
The Falconer First Baptist Church will present “A Down Home Christmas,” a live performance at a country radio station at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. All are invited to attend. Fellowship and refreshments will follow.
