Church To Show Cantata Saturday

Church To Host Living Nativity
FALCONER — Our Lady of Loreto Church, 309 W. Everett St., Falconer, will celebrate its annual Living Nativity Scene on Friday and Saturday starting at 7 p.m. There will be singing, a candlelight vigil and the youth group will collect non-perishable food items for the local food bank and items for the local animal shelter.
Shopping Event This Weekend
The Mayville-Chautauqua Lion’s Club will sponsor a Christmas Shopping Experience, for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, 24 E. Chautauqua St., Mayville. Vendors include The Pampered Chef, Lip Sense, LulaRoe, Glassy Gals, Mary Kay and Norwex. Basket raffles will also be held and lunch will be available.
Panama Church To Host Cantata
The Christmas cantata “What Kind of Throne” will be presented at 10:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday in the Panama United Methodist Church, 22 E. Main St., Panama. All are invited to attend.
Church Cookie Walk Is Saturday
DEWITTVILLE — Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church will host a cookie walk from 9 a.m. to noon, unless sold out before noon Saturday. The church is located at the intersection of Route 430 and Meadows Road, Dewittville. Cookies will be available for $4.50 for a dozen or six dozen for $25. Free hot beverages will be available. Containers are provided, though those attending can bring their own.
Boy Scouts To Hold Breakfast
LAKEWOOD — Lakewood Boy Scout Troop 131 will host Breakfast with Santa from 8-11 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood American Legion Post 1286, 174 Chautauqua Ave. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The menu includes fresh hot pancakes, sausage, hash browns, juice and coffee. Proceeds benefit the troop.
Craft Sale, Tea This Weekend
Members of Christ First United Methodist Church Single’s Group, “The 19 to 99er’s” are hosting a Christmas tea/gift wrapping and craft sale on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. in Darrah Hall of the Church. Use the parking lot entrance. The group is providing this gift wrapping service as well as displaying some hand crafts from the Single’s Group for purchase. Proceeds will benefit the local Mission Projects.
Reed Town Halls Planned Saturday
U.S. Rep. Tom Reed, R-Corning, will hold three town hall meetings on Saturday. The meetings will be held from 9-10 a.m., Kennedy Fire Hall, 3590 Daily Hill Road; 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Silver Creek High School cafeteria, 1 Dickinson St., Silver Creek; and 2-3 p.m. in the Salamanca Village Hall courtroom, 225 Wildwood Ave., Salamanca.
