Zoning Board Meets Tuesday

The Town of Randolph Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Randolph Municipal Building to consider a special use permit to install solar panels on a garage at 12001 Cross Road and a special use permit for Fenton Mobility to operate a manufacturing operation at 26 Center St. The public is welcome to attend.

Historical Society Dinner Tuesday

STOCKTON — The Valley Historical Society will meet for its annual Christmas meeting and dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the South Stockton Wayside Chapel. Those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to pass and their own drink and table service. After the dinner the election of officers for 2018 will take place and members will discuss a wrap-up of the year’s historical research. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome to come. This will be the final meeting of the society until the spring meeting in April.

School Board Meeting Tuesday

The Jamestown School Board will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. for its regular meeting in the board room of the administrative building at 197 Martin Road. The public is welcome to attend the meeting.

Sensory Friendly Event At Fenton

On Saturday, Dec. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, the Fenton History Center will be hosting a “sensory friendly” Santa Claus at the Fenton Mansion. This event is geared towards children and families who might be uncomfortable, nervous, or anxious in the traditional Santa Claus encounter environments, which often feature bright lights, loud music and large crowds. The Santa at our event has experience working with people with disabilities, and the room around him will be set up to be calming and straightforward, while maintaining festive elements where appropriate. Children who attend the event must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This event is free, and open to any community members who wish to attend. Duo To Perform Holiday Concert

ELLINGTON — The musical duo “The Princess and The Rose” will present a holiday-themed concert at Ellington Farman Library on Thursday from 7-8 p.m. The duo is comprised of local resident pianist Rosemary MacKown and vocalist Diana Lenska. They will perform a variety of holiday music culminating in an audience participation sing along. Attendees are welcome to bring a plate of cookies to add to the light refreshments served afterwards. The Ellington Farman Library is located on 760 Thornton Road, Ellington. The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, call 287-2945.

JCC Committee Meets Tuesday

The Jamestown Community College Educational Services Committee will meet Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the Hamilton Collegiate Center boardroom on the Jamestown campus with videoconferencing to the boardrooms on the Cattaraugus County campus and North County Extension Center. The public is welcome to attend.
