Free Meal To Be Offered Sunday

The Jamestown Moose Club, 405 E. Fifth St., will host a Thanksgiving dinner beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting until the food runs out. The meal is free and open to those who may not have the means to have a Thanksgiving meal this year.

CVCS To Host Craft Fair Today

A vendor and craft fair will be held at the Cassadaga Valley Middle-High School, 5935 Route 60 in Cassadaga, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The class of 2018 will be holding the fair to promote local businesses and past alumni. More than 30 vendors, many of whom are Cassadaga Valley grads, as well as local residents are scheduled to be at the event. Donations are $3 for admission; children’s admission includes four activity tickets.

Carrs To Speak At State Park

RED HOUSE — Allegany State Park Historical Society welcomes David Carr and his son, Bryan, as guest speakers Saturday at Camp Allegany. The group camp is located off of ASP Route 2, just past Red House Lake. Father and son will discuss the Carr family history and their family members, including early settler Daniel Carr, who all have lived in Red House since the very early years of the establishment of the town of Red House.

RTPI To Host House Party

The Roger Tory Peterson Institute will host the Hellbender House Party at 311 Curtis St. in Jamestown today from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., and will include a variety of activities to raise funds for the hellbenders new habitat. Activities include a coloring contest, a meet-and-greet with the hellbenders and showings of “The Last Dragons,” a documentary about hellbenders.

Holiday High Tea Planned Today

The Chautauqua County Historical Society will host a holiday high tea at the historic McClurg Mansion in Moore Park, Westfield, today as part of the annual Christmas in the Village. The event includes sandwiches, savories, sweets and beverages in the ambience of the historic mansion. Tea will be served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cost is $15. No reservations are needed.

Fluvanna Library Reception

FLUVANNA — The Fluvanna Free Library will host a service appreciation reception today honoring military personnel as well as fire, rescue and law enforcement personnel. The appreciation reception is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, visit the library or call 487-1773.

Cemetery Group To Meet Monday

The Charlotte Center Cemetery Association will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Sinclairville Library. The meeting is open to the public.

Falconer Holiday Expo At Fire Hall

FALCONER — The 12th annual Falconer Holiday Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Falconer Fire Hall. The Falconer Santa Parade begins at 1 p.m. Those attending the expo are asked to bring a donation for the Blue Star Mothers Christmas Care Package project. A list of suggested items may be picked up at the Falconer Public Library.
