MHA Will Close For Thanksgiving
The Mental Health Association, 31 Water Street, Jamestown, will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 22 during normal business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and reopen from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, Nov. 24.
Bentley Preserve To Hold Tour
The public is invited to a guided tour of the Bentley Nature Preserve on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Located on Bentley Avenue in Jamestown, the Bentley Nature Preserve is one of Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy’s 21 public nature preserves. The tour will be led by CWC Lands Manager Jonathan Townsend and is expected to last approximately one and a half hours. The event is open to the public and free for CWC members, with a suggested $5 per person or $10 per family donation for non-members. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. Model Railroad Event Is Saturday

Rustic Ramblers To Perform Today
The Lakewood Legion Post 1286 will be hosting the Rustic Ramblers today from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Dinners will be prepared by Charlie Vullo from 5-9 p.m. All members and guests are welcome. Those who attend are asked to sign in.
Mayor To Speak On ‘Shop Small’
In observance of Small Business Saturday, Mayor Sam Teresi and several small businessowners on North Main Street will be promoting Shop Small today at 2:30 p.m. The group will meet at Lander’s Men’s Store, 215 N. Main St. in Jamestown, to encourage residents to support small businesses during the holiday shopping season. Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 25. The Small Business Saturday Coalition asked for an official proclamation commemorating the Shop Small movement.
Trafficking Event Set For Saturday
As part of its ongoing mission to serve the public, the Kennedy Free Library will hold a workshop about human trafficking awareness on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Jessica McKeever, Chautauqua County Safe Harbour Coordinator and Community Educator from the YWCA of Jamestown, will address many different aspects of this issue. Teens and adults alike can learn more about how this global emergency is reaching the lives of people in the Southern Tier, ways to recognize the problem, and what to do to help make yourself or someone else safer. Ashville Craft Show Is Saturday
ASHVILLE — The Ashville Fire Department Auxiliary’s annual craft show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Ashville Fire Hall on Stow Road. The hall will be filled with crafters and vendors for holiday shopping. Lunch will be available, trays of cookies will be available and there will be a basket auction.
