Outdoor Club To Hike Tanbark Trail

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike a section of the Tanbark Trail on the Allegheny National Forest. A local Boy Scouts troop will be hiking with the club to earn their Boy Scouts Hiking Badge. Participants will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. The hike that was originally scheduled for this day in Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown has been cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. JPS Board To Meet Tuesday

A Regular Meeting of the Jamestown Board of Education will take place on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Board Room at 197 Martin Road, Jamestown.

Library Board Meets Monday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Farman Library board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. There is time designated for the public to speak at the beginning of each meeting. The library is located at 760 Thornton Road, Ellington, and is handicapped-accessible.

Church Hosting Game Night

The Wheeler Hill United Methodist Church, Wheeler Hill Road, Frewsburg, will hold a Family Game Night at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. All are welcome to attend.

Movie To Be Shown At Church

The movie ”The Passion of Christ” will be shown in the Falconer First Baptist Church, West Falconer Street at Homestead, Falconer on Sunday at 3 p.m. Refreshments will be served and there is no charge to attend. The church is handicapped accessible. All are welcome to attend.

Falconer School To Host 5K Race

FALCONER — The Falconer Key Club is hosting a family friendly Bunny Hop 5K Race and 1K Kids’ Fun Run at Falconer High School on April 22. Pre-registration is $25 for the 5K and $5 for the Kids’ (12 and under) 1K Fun Run. The 5K route starts and ends on the track, and follows a relatively flat course through the village. Register online or download the registration form at RunSignUp.com, searching for Bunny Hop 5K. The Key Club promotes youth leadership and character development through community service projects.

Charity Game Planned In Gym

On Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the McElrath Gymnasium, the Jamestown Police Department will face the Jamestown Public Schools teachers in a charity basketball game to benefit this year’s Battle of the Classes charity, the Alex Foulk Foundation. All proceeds will go to benefit the charity. Gift baskets will be given away along with a 50/50 giveaway and a 3-point shooting contest that is open to the public. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults.

Canine Rescue To Host Breakfast

WESTFIELD — The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue will host a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at the United Methodist Church, 101 E. Main St., Westfield.
