Falconer Seniors To Meet Today

Falconer Seniors will meet today at 1 p.m. in the Town of Ellicott Building, 215 S. Work St., Falconer. Coffee and donuts will be served. Valentine’s Day and ”Our Early Spring” will be celebrated with music, games of bingo and prizes. Discussion will be on future programs. Dues will be collected. All senior citizens, age 50 plus, living in Chautauqua County, are welcome to attend and join. For more information, call 488-1359.

SWCS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will hold a work session meeting and architect work session on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Board of Education Room. The purpose of the meetings are to conduct school business. The meetings are open to the public.

Randolph Historical Society To Meet

RANDOLPH — Janice France will be the Randolph Historical Society’s guest speaker at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the community room of the Randolph Municipal Building, 72 Main St., Randolph. France will share her memories, through photographs and other material, of the towns of Redhouse, Coldspring and Allegany State Park. The public is welcome to attend.

Vegans To Hold Dinner In Fredonia

FREDONIA — A Fredonia Showcase Dinner will be hosted by the American Vegan Society at Ellicottville Brewing Company–West, 34 W. Main St., Fredonia. Hold Seminar

SPRINGVILLE — The Pioneer, Radio, Operators, Society (PROS) will host the National Weather Service for its two-hour Sky Warn and weather spotter seminar on Wednesday. The seminar is open to the general public as well as ham radio operators. Weather spotters and ham radio operators are the “eyes” for the National Weather Service in Buffalo. The class starts at 7 p.m. and will be in the cafeteria at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, 224 E. Main St., Springville. The cafeteria is located in the basement. Those attending should follow the signs. Pulse Poetry Slam Is Thursday

The Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Center will be hosting the March installment of Pulse Poetry Slam on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Infinity Arts Cafe. The month will feature the poetry of Orlando, Fla., native, Troy Cunio. Pulse Poetry Slam is free, family friendly and open to the public. Performance poetry is an excellent way to express creativity while practicing performance and public speaking. Poets and audience-members welcome. The cafe entrance is located at 300 E. Third St.
