Poland Seniors To Meet Wednesday

The Town of Poland Seniors will meet at noon on Wednesday for a pot luck luncheon at noon at the Kennedy Fire Hall. The hosting committee will be Carolyn Widmark, Sandy Tompsett and Ben Morey. Bring a dish to pass, your own table service, at item for the auction, and a non-perishable item for the Kennedy Food Pantry. New members and guests are always welcome.

The select chorus from the Falconer Central School provided a musical program for the group’s December meeting, which also featured a ham dinner catered by 3C’s. There were 32 present.

Sherwood and Becky Anderson and Laurel Gray were welcomed as guests. Festive table decorations were provided by Bob and Sally Canniff and Sandy Tompsett. Elaine Melquist wa recognized for her November birthday. Mary Fraterrigo celebrated her wedding anniversary in November. Norma Vine was recognized for her December birthday.

Eivor Keller accompanied at the piano for the birthday song and singing of “God Bless America.” The secretary and treasurer’s reports were accepted as read. Sally Canniff has submitted her resignation as tour director after 10 years of service, effective as of the Dec. 20 meeting. She has graciously offered to transition a new director into the position.
